Welcome.

Documentary series and portraits of people and places is what I do. Most series are about relationships between people and their (built) environment. The architecture photos are portraits of buildings, based on my own architecture experience of a place.

In 2026 I will finish the series 'Rotterdam - images of modernisation' - the preliminary version is on this site - with photos and short texts of a dozen places that tell stories about the city's drive to modernise, and the ongoing large scale gentrification.

Also in 2026 the collection of 6 series with cultural landscapes of Spanish regions in so-called 'empty' Spain will be completed. Four series are on this website, another two ('Raya Leonesa' in Provincia Zamora and comarca La Bureba, Burgos) will be delivered Spring 2026.
